This employee is named Wang Yongchao. He joined Jiangnan Management as a fresh graduate in June 2019. In less than a year, I completed the identity transformation from a student in the ivory tower to a qualified engineering supervisor. At work, he is strict with himself, earnestly implements the tasks assigned by the project department's leadership, strictly adheres to various rules and regulations, and implements the on-site supervision and inspection work system. At the same time, he actively participates in the training and learning organized by the project department itself, takes the initiative to study norms, and follows his mentor to read drawings and provide on-site guidance step by step. As a result, his professional ability has been rapidly enhanced, and he has developed a pair of sharp eyes like a supervisor. During the construction of the equipment foundation in the station's environmental control room, Wang Yongchao once found that the grounding flat irons of the equipment foundation were not effectively connected, and some grounding flat irons were not properly installed, and the welding lap length did not meet the requirements. He promptly reported this situation to the project department's leadership and requested the construction unit to lead the grounding flat iron from the bottom of the equipment foundation to the reserved grounding point. Later, when he was on duty, he found that the concrete pouring for the equipment foundation had not been thickened with aggregates, which posed a safety and quality hazard. He promptly halted the construction and reported it to his superiors. Subsequently, he ordered the employee unit to make rectifications.
When Wang Yongchao first started working as a supervisor at Shuangpu Vehicle Depot, as a newcomer, he was not familiar with the on-site equipment foundation construction and felt at a loss on the construction site. Under the meticulous guidance of his leader, he started to get familiar with the most basic parts. He often took the drawings to the site to look at them. If he couldn't find any problems, he would ask the manufacturer to come to the site to look for them and learn by himself, constantly refining and improving. In this way, Wang Yongchao quickly became familiar with the on-site work. During the process of coordinating various matters related to the foundation and civil construction of the process equipment at Shuangpu Vehicle Depot, he accurately grasped the specific progress of each foundation and gradually became capable of handling things independently. For instance, regarding the part of the rotary wheel warehouse where there were significant issues on site, he held several special meetings with the civil construction unit, the design team, and the supplier. He made detailed meeting minutes, identified the problems, and made preparations for the subsequent rectification. During the rectification process, he continuously followed up on the on-site rectification situation, conducted case analysis, collected and sorted out the data photos, and reported and handled any problems in a timely manner, effectively ensuring the smooth progress of the project. Thus, the above-mentioned letter of commendation came into being.
