he scorching sun blazes fiercely, blazing with heat. The grass and trees droop in silence, and the heat waves surge without ceasing.
If you take the high-speed rail near Shaoxing North Railway Station, you will see a steel structure venue under construction not far to the south. This is the Phase I B Area project of Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Here, there is no lush green grass, nor the chirping of cicadas everywhere. Some are the rumbling sounds of countless cranes, excavators, transport vehicles, pile drivers and other kinds of machinery, while others are the figures of welders, masons, steel bar workers, scaffolders and various managers sweating profusely. In order for the No. 1 exhibition hall to be put into use smoothly before the end of September, we have been working day and night, day and night, day and night. The steel structure began hoisting on June 1st and the last main truss was closed on July 20th. It took only 50 days to efficiently complete the hoisting and welding of over 13,000 tons of steel structure. Subsequently, the construction of the roof, masonry, curtain wall, pipe trench and other sub-projects was carried out in full swing. The construction site was bustling with activity, and the project progress was advancing smoothly and orderly. Meanwhile, the No. 2 multi-functional hall on the south side of Hall 1 is undergoing pile foundation construction. There are approximately 45 bored cast-in-place pile driving machines and two three-axis cement mixing pile machines.
The two venues are under full-scale construction. There are many specialties involved, the schedule is tight, the time is long, and the temperature is high. However, the enthusiasm of all the project department staff of Jiangnan Management has not waned in the slightest. We work with the sunrise and return with the moonlight, giving it our all. For the sake of project quality, progress and safety, no matter what the situation is, the people of Jiangnan will rush to the front line of the construction site without hesitation and strictly control the quality of every construction process. Stay at your post and carefully inspect every potential safety hazard in construction.
In the summer when overtime work has become the norm and the high temperature persists, colleagues from time to time show symptoms of heatstroke, but this cannot dampen the fighting spirit of the people in Jiangnan. The director works with the front-line supervisors on duty until late at night every day, and the director's representative goes to conduct concealed acceptance inspections late at night every day. To ensure the project is completed on schedule, all the people of Jiangnan have been conscientious in their duties, undaunted by difficulties and hardships. Even if we have become "Han people" due to the heat and "black charcoal" from the sun, we still have to fight against the high temperature to the end, because we share a common dream - to strive for the Jiangnan dream!
